Twice Daily horse rides in the Knysna forest
At reception you will be welcomed by the Glinister family. This forest getaway is a must for nature lovers. Twenty well-trained and cared for horses welcome you from the green pastures.Twice daily visitors go on an unforgettable forest horse ride, accompanied by experienced guides. From beginners to experienced riders can enjoy the lovely Knysna forest, indigenous trees, giantstrelitzia, ferns growing wild, fynbos, small streams, mountain views from another angle, on horseback. Adventure freaks can ride to the Indian Teepee camp in the forest, relax around the campfire, listen to tall stories told by the guide while preparing a mouth watering barbeque.After a peaceful sleep in a Teepee and after a real cowboy breakfast, return to the farm and experience the 2 or 4 hour Forest Hiking Trail leaving from the farm.

Accommodation in tree house near Knysna
Retire on the highest point on the farm. The fantastic tree house which is 8 m high in the treetops where the only alarm waking you will be the song of birds in the early morning. Camp out or stay in a dorm, double en-suite, self catering cottage or the original Sod farm house. We can accommodate groups up to 80 people apart from camping.
