Jakkalsvlei Private Cellar is a Wine Cellar and it is situated at the foot of the majestic mountains surrounding the picturesque village of Herbertsdale on the Garden Route. It is here in Herbertsdale near Mossel Bay where you will find one of the Garden Route’s best kept secrets! The fine soil and ideal climate on the southern and northern slopes of the surrounding mountains combine to allow for the cultivation of quality grapes with great fruit concentration.

Pick you own Grapes at Herbertsdale
The tasting room overlooks the vineyards and mountains! Here you can taste and purchase wines from the Jakkalsvlei collection. Every year from about 15 February to 15 March when you can pick your own grapes (Hanepoort) at Jakkalsvlei.
