Mossel Bay Fishing Charters reports good catches of Kabeljou
We in Mossel Bay have greeted the winter and with that the weaker fishing months. The older fishermen believe that the months without a “r” in their names, (May ,June, July and August) are not very good for fishing. Although this believe exists, we at Mossel Bay Fishing Charters had a fairly good season with some odd Kabeljou catches and good red fish catches like Red Roman and Miss Lucy. Hake was also not to bad and we got the hake not very far out at sea.
As it is getting warmer now we are very confident that the catches will increase. Good Kabeljou catches are in sight. Especially the Big ones.

Koos Hanekom from Upington tried his luck on 29 September 2010 and got his large Kabeljou. Congrats Koos. The crew of Dankie Pa would like to know what you have done with this fish. Braaied on the coals or in the pan or did you curry it. Give us a comment below.
