The George Nursery on the Airport Road just outside George is well-known for their wide selection of indoor & outdoor plants and seedlings. The Nursery also stock water features, pots and other concrete products as well as gardening tools and more. The George Nursery is well known in the Garden Route

Tea Garden at The George Nursery

The George Nursery also offers a relaxing Tea Garden as well as Animal Farm and play area.  Here both parents and children can relax in the country side atmosphere with the Outeniqua Mountains in the background.  The Tea Garden will be closed from September 2011 for renovations to make an outing to the George Nursery even better for visitors.  During the renovation period the Kruis Kerk from George will offer breakfast on Saturdays!  Watch this space for information on the new tea garden and restaurant!

Animal Farm and Play area at the George Nursery

Children (and parents) are welcome to visit the Animal Farm at the George Nursery.  Here you will meet "Blommie" the resident donkey, chickens, potbelly pigs, rabbits, sheep, goats and other farm animals. Entrance is free - feeding packets can be bought from the Tea Garden.  The Play area offers a jumping castle, bumper boats and ample space to run a round and play. A minimal fee is charged for use of the bumper boats. An indoor play room is also available.

Flea Market at the George Nursery

Each first weekend of the month visitors can look forward to the Flea Market at the George Nursery. Stalls will include handmade products, home baked biscuits and more!

Venue for Kiddies parties at the George Nursery

Kiddies parties and school groups are welcome at the George Nursery! The Animal Farm, play area and tea garden is the ideal venue for any Kiddies party! Contact us for available or tailor made packages!
