Since October 2011 you can also kick off your shoes at the second De Vette Mossel Beach Seafood Restaurant along the Garden Route - at the water sport paradise of the Garden Route, Pine Lake Marina near Sedgefield. De Vette Mossel @ Pine Lake Marina is on the resorts own beach, Moonlight Beach (The only one on the shores of Swartvlei Lake.) Sip some wine, gaze over the water and indulge in seafood in abundance!

De Vette Mossel Beach Seafood Restaurant offers much more that perfectly prepared seafood - this is an experience - in unusual and informal surroundings - with traditional Cape fisherman culture in true West Coats style. Right on the beach. The only way to really enjoy seafood, is in abundance, sand under your feet, with the smell of the ocean - right on the beach - West Coast belief.
Fresh Seafood at De Vette Mossel - As Much As You Can Eat
For 3 hours you can feast on as much as you want or can eat! A variety of fresh seafood is prepared on the spot at De Vette Mossel and served straight from the grid to ensure the best quality seafood possible! The menu consists of 9 courses all prepared and presented one after the other. Of each you may eat as much as you like - or can! But this is not as easy as it sounds…. The majority of the courses is prepared in full view on open fires in front of you - this guarantees off-the-grid-fresh seafood - as it ought to be.

De Vette Mossel is open right though the year due to popular demand! During school holidays (December/January, March/April and September) De Vette Mossel has two eating sessions per day. Lunch session: 12:00 - 15:00 Dinner session: 18:30 – late. During off season De Vette Mossel will be open every weekend or when booked for functions and private parties. Saturdays: Dinner Session - 18h30 Sundays: Lunch Session - 12h00
